Few tools in Middle-earth carried the renown and glory of Narsil. Forged in the ancient smiths of the Dunedain, it became a symbol of Gondor's strength for centuries. Bearing by leaders, Narsil shone on the plains of Middle-earth, its steel a terror to opponents. Despite ultimately broken in the shadow of Barad-dûr, Narsil's legacy persevered.
